all servers are down (

I was playing 24/7 Crackhouse Deathmatch and then everyone started getting super lag even though the pings stayed the same. Also everyone started "leaving" because "Steam not Authenticated" popped up for a lot of people. Now it doesnt appear that the server is up anymore.

I've realised like half the wL CS:S Servers are down. I haven't played for 3 days, did i miss something?

Somethings going on. I think from one of the posts Matt said that someone was attacking the servers.

The servers are under a big DDoS attack. The attacker seems very angry and persistent.

Apparently. Any ideas on how to find out who or stop it?

30Gbps is a really big attack to stop. Had a quick look at prices and it would cost $1000 a month to defend against an attack that big, obviously we won't be doing that.

It's even harder to find out who it is, most likely someone that's got banned or competing servers.

Im guessing the banned.mainly because I dont know of rival severs.
