Lol,  the noises he wasn't making was not because of a faulty microphone.  They were obnoxious beat boxish shenanigans.  Over and over.  When he would talk it was clear.  If a root or senior requests the demo I will provide (I have 111 demos since 19MAR averaging at least 13 per day). 

Just FYI, mutes extended commo bans do not require a demo.  I do it because I record most of the time I play because people try to get away with being disruptive and then claim innocence. 

You must be friends with Frenzy because the only appropriate comments would be admins, accused, and people in the game when I did the commo restriction.  Again, if your microphone is making prankish noises pretty sure it is operator's error.  Buying a new headset will prevent you from making annoying noises with your voice.

Tea, if you will as a innocent bystander in the situation. May I view the demo? If his microphone isn't working correctly. Then I do not believe that it technically is his fault. I mean if he attempts to fix it, why keep him muted? What if your mic messes up and we want to mute you. But, we can't can we? Not like you would be since your admin and have more power per say the us. How is that fair? I'm entirely neutral on this until and if you do upload the video. But I hope you understand my point.As I see it, right now Frenzy has a right to be un-muted as it wasn't his fault. Just because your an admin doesn't mean your always right, though the final decision is yours, respectively. I believe this really should be discussed before it goes to far to a point where it's a stupid argument. But I know it's gonna cause future issues between people even once the mute is lifted.



On the side, why did you just jump into this Masterful1? What does this have anything to do with you? Just gonna suck up more to the admins and hopefully you will get it kind of mentality? Go somewhere else and put in some more useless input that wasn't needed and is just gonna stir up more shit that isn't needed.

Doesn't sound like you're an innocent bystander in the situation. Why are you interested in this appeal? How do you know his mic was broken? Sounds like you're pretty biased in the situation and not so innocent. Nowhere do I see does he blame it on his mic, and nowhere does he state it was his mic "spamming for a minute straight" I don't see the need for it to be discussed furthered, if Mr. Tea's mic is broken, then inform him via chat and I'm sure he would stop. If he doesn't, then report it on the forums.

For what it's worth, spamming sounds for 1+ min as Tea described are not the symptoms of a broken mic, it's a person trying to spam. There is no reason that a person should ever be talking on the Comm systems for a minute straight. CS:S requires a PTT system so... you can't claim voice activated.

It's a 2 minute Comm ban, just wait it out.

But, its like people who call me a troll in the dm, never go the extra step to just ask an admin to come and mute me, heck i would be fine with it, its just nobody ever does, and also people dont seem to know what the mute button is apparently(i.e playerlist in main menu), my point being both sides commonly do not have common sense. Admins do there jobs(dunno why drunk there has to be a jerk about it tday though), but sometimes other players don't seem to take the extra step to just mute who should be muted(including me) by going to the admins, or at least saying something in the forum.
