What games do you plan to play?
Also, do you already have a monitor? How much is your budget?
Lastly, are you interested in assembling the parts yourself, or have friends who can do that for you?

Well, I think his budget is around $400-500 guessing from the price of that computer. With that amount of money you could build a fairly decent computer, but you may need to drop some more bones if you want something really nice that can get good FPS in most up-to-date games.

It probably cost a lot more back when he got it.
If you want something already assembled, you might be interested in this or this.
But like MindGames said, you'll get much better value if you build it yourself.

Wtf? Just build that one you have, put a new GFX card and another ram stick.... instead of waisting $500 on a whole new computer.

Like what I posted on the other thread,

You can buy a graphic card later but the APU is great, I get about 100-200 fps on CS:S without any video card.
I can also play other games like Skyrim ( med-high ), Deus Ex Human Revolution ( High ) and even BF3 ( mid ) with 60+ FPS.
You also don't need any DVD Drive since you use STEAM/PIRATE (Arggg...) games.

To add on, 650W PSU for that is enough but you can get a better one later if you are planning to get a graphic card. Also since you are just playing at home, you don't need any fancy computer casing.

I want to go for $1000 pc, I don't care about monitors that much, I like square flat monitors, not rectangle ones. I'm looking to play Assassin's Creed games, just recent action like COD

* and guys, what computers do you have?
#9
So to confirm, you're looking for a full desktop, right? Are you buying a new monitor or using an old one?
#10
Yes, I'm looking just for desktop tower or PC parts so I can build it myself (hopefully), I will keep my monitor, etc.
