Why say bye if you know your going to come back if the problem is fixed?
Anyway, try putting the parameters -autoconfig in launch options, and see if that helps. This'll reset video and performance settings to normal if you ever changed it. I've heard resolution can cause the problem if I recall, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, did you install any custom skins etc. prior to the crash?
