There are less "psychopaths" among murderers than among non-murderers. Research has proven that more people in high positions show symptoms of psychopathy than regular people. High positions meaning: CEO's, senators, (rootadmins ), etc...

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean that they'd shamelessly do it if they knew they would completely get away with it. And yeah, I'd say psychopathic people would especially enjoy having positions of power.
