Immortality's not all that it's cracked up to be. The whole concept of mortality equates to our lives being precious and rare, and that, I think, is beautiful.
And what is the probability that we'd be born at all, the likelihood that we'd even get the opportunity to die.
Besides, imagine that we never died, there'd be overpopulation to the max.
