Muted due to ip sharing I am guessing?

Brought my brother into a scrim tonight and he was muted at first until I reconnected and then I was muted and he wasnt.
I am guessing this is because we are both playing from the same ip/router/house whatever.
anyway we can get this fixed please?

I'm pretty sure it goes by STEAM_ID.

We arent sharing steamids though. Just ip's, he is on a separate account on a separate computer.

He was probably muted separately.
