Their studies are for the most part correct. The problem being we have all worn shoes at some point. For the benefits of barefoot running to come into affect you have to never wear shoes. The issue you run into is after a few years of no support you will pronate (your arch will fall) severly. Thus creating other knee and hip issues. Our body's weren't ment to live ad long as we do now. It doesn't really matter what you do in the long run everything is bad for u.
