Server Freezes just for 1 second at a time for extended periods of time

Due to some people experiencing the issue and others not, it sounds to me like the possibility of a problem with one of the routers along the route to the server. For those experiencing this issue, can you run a trace route to the particular server and either paste the results or identify the last several routers in the trace? This would help in tracking down the issue.

A trace route can be performed by using the command "tracert [ip here]"

Here's a thought. If you're experiencing these random lag spikes can you identify if you're using a wireless router. If so, the lag spikes may be due to the wireless router which may every-so-often force you to re-authenticate resulting in a 500ms lag spike every time it does so.

Im not on wireless and i haven't been having this issue for a week or so. but it seems to still happen at times ill post if i get any more good info.

I use a mixed router. The same thing still happens if I try a direct connection.

dude i think its u no one else is having issues so i think it might be ur computer
