knowing how stupid it is to tinker with CS:S, i decided to re-install it....oh yea bad mistake.

now i cant use my custom skins because the <name>/counter-strike source/steamapps....is there but the files aren't....so i cant replace the existing default skins with my own custom ones....anyone help?

Yeah sometimes that happens after a fresh install. Try playing the game for a couple minutes and then restarting your computer. There then should be a folder with your account name in it, and in that the CS:S directory. Hope that helps

Wouldn't changing some options in options and hitting ok would save a file(as well as folders?) ^_^.

i cant connect to my regular zombie server...but i can connect to war lords server / facepalm
and yes i'm quite sure the server is up

zombies mods are totally stupid...i played this server to gtfo of zombie servers
and ban all top 10 players for playing for a living

in any case i solved the problem...the zombie servers admins decided to cut ties with pacsteamers
