Well, from all the intel on the intra-webz we are looking at a HL3 release in 1-2 years with a new CS accompanying it either at launch or directly after. That is what I am waiting for now.

But Valve has according to the rumors scrapped three of their Source2 engines already because they felt outdated... Hopefully the one that they are working on right now is better :p

That is what I said about 1.5 until I finally came to terms with source. GO strays away from that path clearly, but hopefully the new CS won't!
