Some quick questions

1_ How do i join a PUG
2_ How do i get the maps for the PUG servers?

You can find PUG and PUB servers here

Community server rules is also found there be sure to read and comply with all the rules.
There are different locations for pug and pub servers. NA, Asia and some EU locations.

For your other question, once you try to connect to a server and you do not have that particular map, it will automatically download it for you before you can connect to the server and play.

What year did you start playing CS in general? You said youre an old player. Im just curious.
