Apparently you can use an app that doesn't have gps and u can go anywhere. Just heard about it though. Angel

Doesn't have GPS but will use data? Waze is known to work without Data connection as long as you have the GPS on

They're also talking about them banning accounts for people that are hacking it and not using the game for what's intended for lol. - but for real it really does defeat the purpose of the game + it's definitely not as fun.
