Banned  Ze'Yon intentionally team flashing
#1
This is the pug https://war-lords.net/pugs/73139

Just after tic ~220000 beginning of the 15-11 round.  Ze'yon stares at my back at the start of the round so he knows its me, then when he sees me run mid, he turns away form where he's running and throws a flash right in front of me.  Impossible for this to be an accident and if it was he would have said something.

Sounds like from looking through the forms he does this kind of thing regularly but no one has ever posted a specific demo.  Only one flash, but this dude has a long history of trolling, griefing, and just generally being an asshole and bad teammate.

Thanks.

Lol it's funny how much of a salty little child you are. I don't get why anyone in the server doesn't have you permanently ignored, all you do is scream on mic constantly and then bitch and moan when you die or things don't go your way. You act like a spoiled little child, your mom probably still does your laundry for you.

btw I'm a socialist, not a communist, though I don't expect you to know the difference.

It would be pretty hard to be a communist, for that youd need the perfect stateless, classless heaven to exist in the present world.

At best most people pushing for communism are pushing for a hard "left" kind of socialism that they believe is communism, but isn't (like all the nominally "communist" countries did for all these decades and in some cases still do).

But these terms have been used interchangeably by the "communist" countries and the rest of the world for decades, so both of your opinions are accurate ?

Well people who self-identify as communists now want the end of the state, maybe not necessarily now, but ultimately. I'm not sure I want that, but I certainly want a democratic and egalitarian economy

Yeah like most people in the westernized countries. We are just throwing each others poop because of different brand's name of ideologies, or ways to achieve pretty much the same goals.

Like seriously, if the news, "scholars" and extremists weren't so ideological, dishonest and vitriolic about everything, im sure we could agree on 90-95% of the issues we THINK there is currently.

I don't think this is true.  In the US we have this deep tradition of 'individualism' and people tend to think that the success or failure of someone in the economy is due to their choices and their effort, however the data does not actually bare this out, yet people still hold this myth.

Maybe i phrased it wrong, english isnt my first language.

The vast majority of the population dont construct their worldview around ideologies (like people in universities or in politics claim to do).

Ask 100 000s of different persons from different region, countries and continent of the westernized world :

Do you care about our environment ?

Do you want equality of opportunity for everyone ?

Is government a necessity ?

Should we have the right to defend ourselves ?

Etc.

If we are strickly speaking about the goals, the vast vast majority of the population can find a common ground in the vast majority of the problems we think we have.

We mainly disagree on how to achieve x goals, some people want the government to do everything, others wants it to do a part of it, some wants it to do something else, others say individuals or the free market are better suited.

If we had a real honest debate on most of these things without all the ideologues lecturing everyone about how x is better then y because he likes x or was borned living in x ... but eh thats my idealist side speaking.

So I agree with this, especially your point that most people don't view the world form ideological lenses.

I disagree, however, that we would be able to come to a consensus about these issues and make meaningful improvements in our world and society if we just had the appropriate forms and media for having honest discussions. I have a couple of good friends with whom I regularly have these kinds of honest conversations and on many of the critical areas we're not able to come to a consensus.

The core (to me) difference is on our basic conception of freedom. To me, freedom means not just being un-obstructed from doing something, but also being meaningfully capable of doing that thing. If your hungry, you're not meaningfully able to do much other than search for food. If you're stuck at work for 80% of your wakeful hours every day in order to pay for food and rent, you're not meaningfully free to "do what you like.

To me, and to a lot of leftists, capitalism is structurally incompatible with meaningful freedom. This article in Current Affairs, which is a review of the book Capitalism Versus Freedom, does a good job of explaining why many believe capitalism is inconsistent with freedom.

Anyway, this discussion was nice. Ben you seem like a chill dude.

But lets get this thread back to what it was supposed to do, which is get Ze'yon banned for intentionally team flashing, something he seems to have a long history of doing.

Paging any admin who can come in here and give a fuck. Bison? Cali? Muffinman? Rabbit? These are the only admins I know, but literally any of you, if you watch this demo it will be clear, without a doubt, that Ze'yon intentionally team flashed me. Ban this petty, little, dog-collar making, social darwinist.
