Was a member of csnation and adminstrator for #counter-strike on IRC. No where near as good as I was skill wise these days, but I know what is legit and was isn't.

You're right it probably should not have been put into a application thread.

I don't have demos that is why I didn't create a actual report hacker post in the appropriate section. Merely was hoping an admin would see the information in time to verify for themselves. No one responded on chat and didn't want their steamIDs to vanish forever.

3. Don't double post 

It was not a double post. It was a "RE:" in a existing thread with entirely new content in it's body. I guess we have different definitions of a double post.

I can appreciate sarcasm, but when I was simply trying to help clean up the population on your server(s) and you laugh at my efforts I'm not sure how to react to it.

I hope my responses are not considered disrespectful or unwarranted, because I would still like to get rid of mic-spammers and hackers in real-time which in large part helps the cs community and server population.

Okay thank you for clearing that up. I've never really been on a forum where you would edit a previous post unless you intended the content to belong in that post originally and forgot it, or typo'd something, hence the edit. I'll make sure to respect the that rule going forward. Out of curiosity is that to prevent people from just accumulating counters on their post trackers? Or do you just consider it bad forum etiquette?

Both! I believe it originally started when there was a giveaway on this forum, and to qualify you had to make 15 posts. One of the rules was to not make multiple posts in a row, because that just makes your count higher And i guess it just stuck with and became a forum rule lol

na it was never really a rule till i started enforcing it lol but ya editing also makes the forum a lot more cleaner looking plus u dont have to look at 100 posts before u get to the top post lol the only instance you can double post in is if your message to large to fit into 1 post then thats the only exception
