Good Graphics Card?
#1
Hi everyone! been a while...
i am looking to build a desktop soon but im sort of shitty at picking out hardware

anyone know a nice graphics card to go w/
ECS P67H2-A3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
will be using core i7 sandybridge processor

i intend to use this computer for sc2, as well as other gaming/media and do not want to experience any graphics lag

while browsing newegg i see a lot of moderately priced 1gb cards but am not sure if 1gb will suffice

not sure, thinking maybe around 100- 150$

Get a GTX295, it'll max out any game in direct x 10 settings for your price range.

The downside, is it is not direct x 11.

I have ati5870 on my laptop, play any game maxed out.... It should be cheaper than $150.

GTX 295 is a lot better then a ATI5870.

Can you find a GTX 295? For less than $150? Smile

GTS 295 is only a DX10 card unfortunately.

It consumes twice as much power as the Radeon Card. ._.
