Where do you stand on mic spamming?

For instance, I was just playing on server 10 (surprise surprise) and some dude was blasting some crappy God music down the mic, just constantly. I found it extremely offensive, not only to my ears, but to my beliefs in science and everything else rational in the known world. I told him to stop it several times, and his excuse was that it was "mess around time". I felt he wasn't respecting a server I enjoy so much, and it made me slightly angry. That , coupled with his extremely poor choice in tunes and ruining a perfectly good game, I lost it and insulted him slightly. I am pretty sure he was just being an audio troll, so surely that has to be against the rules?

Thats what I got. I muted him in game, but he kept reconnecting just to blast crappy music down the mic. I eventually just had to turn off mics altogether, which ruined the tactical plays that myself and the rest of my functioning team were putting into action. Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

Anyways, is there anything you can do about this sort of thing? Just for future reference, because I doubt he will be back, but I just wanted to know.

When ever I see that, I first mute them, then kick them, then ban them for a day. Its not a perm ban offense though unless they come back the next day and do the same thing... Then I'll get rid of them for good.

We've got a rule for pretty much everything. Yes, Mic spamming is against our rules.

Well there was no admin on at the time Yeah I don't have a demo of this, I probably should have recorded one, but I actually couldn't stand hearing it, it was so horrible. I thought I would just post here and find out if anything would be done. Well now I know for the future, thanks for answering my question

If admin joined another team, he/she can't hear mic spamming, you need to tell admin about it.

Yeah but there was no admin on the server at all. Well, at least from what I could see, I didn't recognise any of the names, since most of them were noname people. Bison was on a different server, but I didn't see that until I hopped. There was a bunch of votebanning going on whilst this was all happening as well, for some guy that was clearly not hacking, so I thought that if an admin had been present, then s/he would have sorted that ordeal out as well. If not, then they are a bad admin So yeah, now I know

Probably you are right, but next time just press "u" for team_chat and type @"your message to admin"

Yeah man, I have done this lots of times...
Just go into an empty server and do it...the chat will turn green...
