Resolved  Bobbotheclown's ban
#1
yes, I was mic spamming, and I do know I shouldn't have, is there a way I can make up for it?

because even though I was making the server a living hell, I really enjoyed the server because it always has a high number of players, and low ping.

is there any possible way I can get unbanned? :-[

Your ban is only for 24 hours only, you are just going to have to wait it out.
"Most people think time is like a river, that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of time, and I can tell you, they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm."

thank you, it would have been nice to know initially.

If you knew you shouldn't have, then maybe you could of avoided the ban by not doing it. It's clearly stated that it's against the rules.

I think he meant it'd been nice to know the duration of the ban initially, I'm sure he knew that was against the rules initially.

I warned him several times in game. He was blasting music so loud down the mic, I couldn't hear any other game sounds. I muted him after giving him a swift warning. He then joined again after another hour, and CTs were complaining about him, so I banned him. I felt that warning him and muting him once already was enough of a warning before banning him. It was clear that he was just there to spam music down the mic. He even admitted that he made the server "a living hell", which I agree, as he was spamming that "peanut butter jelly time" song. I hate that song.

I banned him for one day, as he already evaded the mute, rejoined and carried on spamming the mic.

sorry... just what do you know, the other server i tried it on also was a war lords server.

I would stop if the admin said to. definately if an admin said to. If I had known he was admin I would stop.. :-[

Why do you think I was giving you warnings? And the "other" server you joined was the same server...you just switched to CT because I was on T.

Your ban has already expired. If you mic spam again, it will be a 1 week ban.

Enjoy the servers Smile

I had a look, and I found something rather interesting.

Your ban was lifted on 09-01-11 at 21:26.
You were then banned again on 09-02-11 at 03:21.

Your second offense? Spamming Mic/Chat. I can only assume that you were once again blasting music down the mic and refusing to stop. Your ban is for one week, and expires on 09-09-11 at 03:21.

That's the quickest reban for the same offense that I have seen so far. A mere 6 hours before you were banned again. You should have mentioned this.

Your ban stays at 1 week. Next time you're unbanned, don't break the rules again, because I have a feeling that next time it will be a month, or even permanent.
If you read this, you suck.
