Its 80% easier to hs on source then 1.6. Most people don't like source cause it was easier. But I play now cause 1.6 is lagging these days. Not sure what valve did but it lags like crazy for me.

I found it just as easy to headshot people in cs classic (1.0-1.6) as I do in source.  Always been stop, aim at the head, shoot, get headshot.  I think people find spraying easier, but I could spray people down pretty easy in CS just as well.  Aiming is overrated anyway.  Sound is like 50% of the game for me.

can anyone tell me the main difference's between em? I haven't played 1.6 bc i have Source so why do people still prefer 1.6 over source?

If you are deciding between them, get source! I hear 1.6 is becoming obsolete and many people are shutting down their servers and moving to source. Source indeed does have better graphics and i do believe its easier to headshot lol. If you don't want to pay for CSS get setti's; it worked fine when i had it

Its cause Valve been small updates like adding in ads into the game. Making the game lag a bit on a good server and registering sucks on 1.6 -.-.

i think cs source is more like realistic than 1.6 besides theres more ppl playing css than 1.6 and bettter graphics also haha
