It's intended.
To gain the Arabian Society (which all hate "israel") to think that they are Honest & trust able & to make them feel week and disabled (By showing them Harming Images daily of Arabians being killed, bombed...) to stop them from even thinking of attacking the regimes who support israel.

2 birds 1 stone.

that's what started the Arab Spring, they knew that the up coming generations wont sit & watch Palestinians being killed, tortured, raped every day, so they had to create some sort of a new Enemy (A diversion) for the Arab Youth, which was a "Civil War" which can protect Israel by weakening the Arabs & help them kill each other.

That's why the Syrian government didn't & will never fall, because the people know who's their real enemy -> "israel".
