I do not normally play CS:S nor have I played on this server for a long time, however many people were complaining about lag issues generally and even more so in high traffic. I do not know how often the saved paths on this server are cleaned out but lots of built up file paths can slow down the server greatly and is perhaps causing this lag to grow exponentially in high traffic. This is just a guess from my own experience running OS form outside servers and the problems I have come across. Can I get any more information about the server? I can fix this problem or direct someone on how to fix this problem quickly if I have a better idea of the performance of the server and its maintenance.

Do you mean 173.231.20.21:27015? When was the the lag occurring?
