Soennen went in rashly. His only gameplan was to get Silva out through groundwork. This made him lose a lot of stamina after the first round.

Yeah, but Silva's walking around weight is above 200 pounds.

And Sonnen's only chance to beat Silva was on the ground, he can't outstrike him.
