I have all that plus drop box, skydrive, online banking passwords, credit card passwords, tmobile account, my work report system requires me to change password every 3 months, and many others.

i hate faggot sites which make you create passwords which needs symbols, capital letters, etc. so annoying

I actually have a system that consists of a mix of the natophonetic alphabet and other obscure words, based on the site that I'm visiting. So long as I remember the system, I will always know what my password for a website is. If the website has a number, capitcal letter, or symbol requirement, I simply put !1[cap] at the beginning. The benefit of this is that I can make a password that is effectively four or five characters long in terms of remembering it, but the password itself will easily be twenty to thirty characters in length. While there is a small systemic risk that someone could find out about my system, they would have to: A. Know to look for it, B. Make a full list of words that I use, and C. Get enough of my passwords to be able to decipher the system. However, I've made a practice of completely rewriting my system every six or so months, so I find this possibility highly unlikely.

I just checked, and it would apparently take 2 trillion years to brute force most of my passwords. Come at me Bros.

excel file will do, the only password you must remember is the excel file.

Are you talking about ARMS? ARMS makes me do the same exact thing every 3 months.


@Cracker Jack I disagree, in fact you are less secured than a person that is choosing a favorite hobby + date of birth for password. Systems make more sense than random events. Lets imagine that you just registered on autoparts.forums.com give us a password that would be generated by your system and we will encrypt your system with knowladge that there is a system. In other words one of your accounts on some random gaming forum gets hacked and the next thing you know someone is cashing out your banking account.

My school password requires a change every 6 months too.

I always forget my passwords. Secret question doesn't help sometimes either.

I have to reset some of them frequently. I think the locked excelsheet sounds safe for now. Unless someone managed to break through it. And I'm screwed.
