Can't connect to servers. (Using Non-Steam)

Last time I played here ( like 2 years back ), I remember that I could play using the non-steam version of Counterstrike source. But now whenever I try to connect, it says that the server needs steam to connect to. Is it possible to play without Steam? If yes, how? If no, damn... Thanks in advance Smile

I'd suggest looking though the thread at nosteam.ro (other users there reported similar errors).

Run it as an administrator. It should work fine.
