Source close to Google have tipped The Wall Street Journal that the internet search giant is working behind closed doors on Android based game console and wristwatch.

According to WSJ and its sources, this move is an effort to combat similar devices Apple is expected to reveal in the next few months.

Google is also working on a second version of its Android-based media streaming device, Nexus Q which was revealed last year but still not sold to the public.
