The way I see it, the people who do get offended by the term are the people that still cling to the past. Yes, I understand that it is an offensive word. Things sure have changed since then. Now you see African Americans accepting other "races" into their clique and calling them their nigga. It's exactly as you said, "race by now is almost entirely a social concept".

With that being said, we all agree upon the fact that racism should not be allowed on the servers regardless of the context of the word. Derogative words are used almost daily in the servers over the mic or in chat. There were two people on yesterday around mid-day spamming the chat with offensive words towards Middle-Eastern people and races that were not considered "white". (By now, the chat logs disappeared for that time of day, sorry I don't have screenshots to provide either)

NO PROOF NO ACTION. You dont need to do all those stuffs :confused: Just mention player nick, steam ID, and server time( at the very moment) in ur report. Then wait for a root admin to trace it and take action (which usually take alot of time)
