Of course Assassin would want Assasination (VIP) maps on there. Also it takes more than just adding those types of maps to make it work. You have to have the VIP plugin installed to make this work.

Alot of plugins get broken after valve does updates, so I'm not sure if this one is still working.

lol jay of course i would want that its what im meant for lol, tbh i think its good to break the usual hostage and bombing maps, and i think that this server will be very popular and a success btw i hope u add russka too, and i liked adding cs_mansion  its a good map i like it 

cs_estate_source is a better version of cs_mansion (if you read the notes, you'd see). It's an old CS map I believe. I think estate_source is a better choice (higher rated, more played, better port).

These are by no means the final decisions of the map rotation on the server. We should be adding as_ maps when the plugin is confirmed to work.

The fog on Westwood was terribly rendered (not just me, other people said that too). Don't hate the player, hate the map maker

i dont know cs_estate i never played but i used to play cs_mansion it was one of my fav, and u said that they are the same map, anyway when will this server be finished?

Ok, so we now have a test server up and running to see if we want to have the VIP assassionation mod on the new server that we are getting ready to get up.

We need some players to get in this test server so we can see how it runs. With this mod, we will need alot of people in there to test it out.

It's what we're currently testing, as it's the idea that's had the most input and feedback on. Since the update today, it may be possible that we can get more servers running again, as Linux multithreaded servers are now supported by SRCDS.

Mar_heave, I can't see that we'd add another zombie server. We might, but I honestly believe that as soon as we did, and it became popular, that the ZR server would quickly become empty, because everyone would just go on the ZE server (since ZE is quite clearly a lot better than ZR). I mean, honestly, which would you rather have? ZE or ZR? I can appreciate that you may be worried about losing your game.me rank, but what is more important? Rank or having fun?


Also, I have updated the first post with more information. I'd really like it if people would read the update, it will only take a few minutes and will bring you up to date. Also, I have included a link to a compiled map pack.

GameME? Don't need it ... just to have fun.At my previous server I just had some fun, no gameME points and ranks.
Just the GameTracker thing.
I choose ze, but some people love zr more than ze,
but take a look at other server.I don't have to mention it.
They have zombie escape server that works well
and a special zombie server(lila panic maps)that works well too
also a zombie mod server(with reviving plugin) with common zm maps that works well too.
Hard to guess that both our zombie servers can survive if we add ze server.
We need processes. Not after one month the ze server and zr will get a big population.
Maybe months, day by day, month by month, the population can rise.
But who knows?  :-\

Depending on how everyone plays it, this mod can be very fun or it can suck.
CT'S: You will have one player on your team that is the VIP. (You can tell who it is by the different skin he has) You all should stick together and protect the VIP. You will need to escort him to the rescue point to win the round. The way that this will suck is if all the CT's go there own way leaving the VIP to defend himself, or if the VIP just goes his own way. This must be a total teamwork play to make it fun.

T's: You will need to either kill that VIP or prevent the CT's getting the VIP to the rescue point simple as that.

I had one of these mods running on one of my servers a few years ago and it had some bugs in it. The mod has since been remade by someone else so I don't know if it is still buggy. That's why we need to test it out. If it runs stable and alot of people like it. It might be cosidered to be added to the new server when it is released.

This mod will only turn on when one of the as_maps run and will shut off when the cs_maps and de_maps run.

We have fastdl setup on the server but if you prefer, here is the map pack.

i downloaded the map packs but i couldnt connect to the server i get steam validation rejected maybe cause the server isnt patched anyway i will try with a steam version and replay to u by this week

I prefer ze, look at mako reactor v3.1 new modes Extreme II, and ze_minas_tirith awesome, the most awesome ze map with many Item.
