I think the real discouraging factor is writing an essay, and not necessarily any language barriers. I dislike writing essays myself. :p

Although, one should really be thinking of it this way, the fewer people to do it, the worse of an essay you can get away with.

I'd write an essay, but I already have css.

And my essay probably would make zero sense, that's how I roll.
