Beats Audio
Quad speakers
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M Graphics 2GB GDDR3
Hard Drive Size : 750GB. Speed : 5400-rpm
Memory : 8GB DDR3
Intel Core i7
Processor Speed : 2.3GHz
Processor Cache : 6MB L3 Cache
Windows 7 Home Premium
LED High Definition Screen 1366 x 768
15.6 inch screen
Ok... one thing at a time.

Processor - Any gaming on Windows 7, it needs to be faster.
Memory - If that's not a 64 bit version of Windows, you aren't even using half of it. 32 bit version OS's can only use up to 4GB of memory TOTAL. This includes all other memory on the machine including video RAM.
Video Card - If you want to play CS:GO, you're gonna need something better. GDDR3 was good for Half Life 2 era games, but not anymore. GDDR5 is what you're looking for.
Hard Drive - 5400 RPM = SLOW loading times. The slowest component in any computer (besides optical devices; CD, DVD, etc) is the hard drive. 5400 RPM is the slowest searching / loading thing there is. If you want speed, go with SSD, it can't be beat.

This is all dependent upon how much money you have and / or are willing to spend. I have other pieces of advice about this system, if you want it, but only if you're looking to drop some dollars on it.

HP laptops are known for overheating. My coworker has one, every time he pulls it out of his bag it smells like burned plastic and shit in the office.

Good luck with your new HP laptop and Marry Christmas.

Yes, they are... And they also cost about twice as much as the components combined are worth. Not to mention that their customer service is HORRIBLE if you have a problem. Alienware is not worth the cost.

He clearly mentioned that he needs laptop for studies, lite gaming and portability. Why do you suggest 17-18 inch republic of gamers and alienware laptops that weigh 8-9 pounds. You're all fucking stupid.
