Sour grapes for you. You don't have to have connections with the admins or staff to become an admin.

Dude... Don't be so negative about it... You don't know why you got rejected... I got rejected, and I've been here a while, never been banned, etc... My assumption was that I either pissed an admin off at one point or that I wasn't well known enough... Doesn't matter... They pick and choose who they want, and that doesn't mean its forever...  Be active, talk in the forums, don't be a tool, etc..  Then maybe try again...  You can CHOOSE to take it in a negative way, or just roll with it and say, "Game ON!!"

There could be a variety of reasons. We're looking for very particular kind of admin. May even vary based on server-type! :o

Since I'm one of the head admins here. I'll go ahead and tell you this. Map-stacking basically every single map while I'm present, and then shortly after implemention of auto switch at half time, rage quitting with the message, "NVM... I'll go somewhere where an Admin isn't feeling "All-Powerful" and fucking with people's enjoyment of the game." PROBABLY didn't help your application. You team stacker, you!

I think to become an admin, you have to follow rules on MOTD when playing in servers, in forums, when someone got a question, be quick to help or find a solution, don't spam forums (to show that you are very active, roots are watching everyone)....... also, when new people are coming and apply, they are unlikely to become an admin, because nobody knows that person
